ST. LOURDES CHURCH
This Church is in Chatram area of Trichy. I think its one of the most elegant structures in Tamilnadu.The interior is furnished with magnificient wood works and stained glass paintings.
The church celebrated its
centenary birthday fifteen years ago. I heard that this church was built to remember Mother Mary appeared to three shepherds in france. As trichy is
geographically centre place in Tamilnadu, society of jesuits had chosen this
place to build.
